About Me

I’ve always had an interest in “eating healthy", which to me meant choosing whole wheat over white bread and brown over white rice (not that I actually knew why those were healthier options). Don’t get me wrong, these were smart choices, but I think you’d agree there’s a tad more to healthy eating habits.
I actually used to hate vegetables. There were many years of my mom sneaking cauliflower into my bowl of pasta and of swallowing peas whole like pills. However, I am thrilled to report that my palate has expanded over the years and vegetables are now the first food on my plate. Nutty, right!?
While the rest of my health journey is a somewhat interesting tale, I’ll skip to the part that you’re really here for. When the pandemic hit and I was laid off from my job, I just knew that it was finally time for me to take the next step in both my life and my career. No more tech startup sales or account management (no hate, just not for me!), which I knew I wasn’t passionate about. The real thing was close. I could feel it.So while briefly considering interior design and dealing with having planned a June 2020 wedding overseas, I was simultaneously developing a workout routine and experimenting with healthier cooking. As I worked on myself and discovered what health looks like for me, I had my lightbulb moment. I went back to school to receive my Health Coach Certification from The Institute for Integrative Nutrition. That was the second best decision I’ve ever made (the first was marrying my husband) and without a doubt has set me on the life path that G-d intended for me.
My primary life and career goal is one and the same. It is to help you prioritize and take care of your health now while you’re young to set yourself up for a better quality of life in the longterm… and to help you love how you look and feel now, of course. I wholeheartedly believe this begins with creating a strong foundation of positive habits. And baby, that’s my specialty.
